Wunder Mom and Founder of Prescription Pilates Vanessa Mott Shares Her Daily Habits

When I first moved to Lisbon two years ago I was a mom strolling around in my postpartum bubble. We were in the post covid era and new and interesting places were opening up daily. On one of my walks I passed a stylish spot being built. I stuck my head in and lovely Vanessa was there, I asked her what is going on and she told me about her concept for a new pilates reform studio Prescription that she is opening. Fast forward to today she is a successful founder of not one but two studio. She shares her daily habits that make her happy and fulfilled.


In terms of a wellness routine, I practice Pilates at least 3 times a week + 1 cardio based class per week I love Bootcamp at Prescription. I recently started running by the Tage with my husband, which I LOVE. For my mental health I try to incorporate yoga twice a month . I enjoy eating healthy but a lot (LOL) and always combine high protein food, vegetables and healthy carbs. I will start my day with a very nutritious breakfast and end the day with an early and light diner with the kids most days of the week. This allows me to optimize my sleep and give my stomach a break for at least 12 Hours. I take supplements for my health, especially collagen and magnesium for muscle recovery, skin health and immunity. Finally I pamper myself with one or two massages per month to help me relax in challenging times !
