VALENTINE’S SPECIAL: LOVE IS WITH JULIA BUBENIK

I have know Julia since the opening of Wunderhaus she has been a big supporter and a wonderful part of the Wunderhaus community! We were both blessed to have our daughters weeks apart and as I have witnessed her motherhood journey with her two lovely children. I wanted to ask her a few questions exploring love, motherhood and her feelings, as we all know a mothers love knows no bounds and Julia shares with us what Love is like for her children.

What do you love most about motherhood?

Well, there's the unlimited supply of hugs and kisses, the 24/7 entertainment, and let's not forget the opportunity to relive our childhood through our kids' eyes. But, if I had to pick just one thing, I'd say it's the newfound appreciation for the phrase 'because I said so'. It's like a magic wand for solving all parenting dilemmas!

“I'd gladly endure a lifetime of macaroni necklaces and play dough stuck in my hair.”

How would you describe your love for your children?

It's like my heart has tiny little feet and it's constantly running laps inside my chest. I love my kids so much that I'd gladly endure a lifetime of macaroni necklaces and playdough stuck in my hair. And let's not forget the joys of deciphering toddler gibberish, but hey, it beats the quiet house!

Do you have a favorite valentine’s tradition?

This year we will try to start a new tradition: A love letter exchange: have each family member write a funny or heartfelt love letter to the other members and exchange them.
