A community is not made up of four walls or a place…It is made by the people themselves, connecting and supporting each other.

As the founder of Wunderhaus, I have experienced such a wonderful community both inside our physical space, and also with our second act…navigating a pandemic in which mothers were going through an entirely novel parenting experience . Mothers giving birth, working, caring and surviving through a seemingly never-ending pandemic. During my own pregnancy with my third child, I found that as mothers we were still able to bond and share the tips and tricks of our journey through emails, texts and with enquiring strangers via instagram. I began to wonder how I could connect these mothers and the idea for a global community was born. Wunderhaus Digital is an online platform that seamlessly connects like-minded mothers who support and empower each other with tips, ideas, services and so much more. From babies to business, mothers can share and support each other on their journey through motherhood. Our journal, Wunder Stories, will offer you access to inspiring stories of our community and engaging content created specifically with mothers in mind.

They say a woman is a woman until she is a mother and then she becomes something profoundly different. The journey into motherhood is a time of absolute joy, but it can also be a very isolating and overwhelming experience for many women.

We believe support from like-minded women during the journey into motherhood and beyond is invaluable and crucial to the evolution from woman to motherhood.

  • Shirley is a mom of 3 lovely daughters and has 26 years of Mom-ing experience that spans 3 different countries at various points of her life. She is a deeply trusted and highly regarded voice among the global community of motherhood always advocating for mothers from all walks of life across the globe.

    Bringing people together is Shirley’s gift but bringing together successful, supportive, heartfelt & inspiring women is her specialty. With that in mind, she brilliantly and thoughtfully engineered the creation of the digital community for Wunderhaus bringing the magic she dreamed up in Berlin and making it now accessible to women all over the world.

    Prior to creating a digital community for mothers to empower and support each other, Shirley started Wunderhaus, a beautiful physical space in Berlin for mothers to connect, relax and recharge.

    She believes it is crucial to have a great village to help you navigate the many highs and lows of motherhood.
