We accept children from the age of 4 months to 4 years old. Our childcare service may only be used in combination with use of services at Wunderhaus the Wunderhaus Cafe and during events.
It takes a village to raise a child and Wunderhaus wants to be that village!
We know how difficult motherhood can be the first year therefore we want to provide a place where like minded Mothers can meet and enjoy a class for themselves or their little one all under one roof.
Your child must be free from fever and any infectious diseases. In the case that a child develops a fever while in our care, he or she must be picked up and taken home immediately.
Parents are obligated to stay onsite, and are free to visit their child to nurse or console them if the need arises.
Childcare can only be booked in combination with use of services at Wunderhaus the Wunderhaus Cafe and during events.
Your little ones are as important to us as they are to you, that is why we source the best Wundersitters. Our Wundersitters are experienced
childcare staff, each Wundersitter is required to have a certificate of completion of baby and child first aid course, references and relevant
experience or professional training in the early education field.
We will have at least three Wundersitters in our wunder playspace. We do have two sections, one for newborns and one for toddlers (from 4 months until 4 years).
Childcare takes place in the wunder playspace with toys that are wooden or BPA free and that address your child’s developmental growth. There is a glass window that parents can view their child during their stay and parents are free to interact with their child anytime during their child’s visit. If the need arises our wundersitters will call you if your child needs comforting, assistance or nursing.
To secure a spot we ask that you register at least two days before your desired session. In case you decide to drop in without registering, we can not guarantee you a spot.
The wunder playspace is open Monday – Friday
09:30 – 11:00
11:00 – 12:30
14:00 – 15:30
16:00 – 17:30
Saturday & Sunday closed (only open for Birthday Parties, Baby Showers and other events)
Childcare in the wunder playspace is for 1 1/2 hours only, our childcare service is not a kita, krippe, or tagesmutter so we kindly ask that you do not exceed that limit.
Making sure your child is happy is important to us that’s why we suggest your first visit with your child you stay for 20-30 minutes to familiarize them with the surroundings and wundersitters prior to leaving them in the wunder playspace.
The price for childcare in the wunder playspace is included in your membership. For non members you can purchase a day pass for 16 euros which will include childcare. Cancellations can be made by 4pm the day before to be courteous to other parents who may be waiting for a spot.
Since we are not a regular childcare facility bound to the rules and regulations of the state and do not need a permit of operation, the law does not require us to provide accident insurance. We highly recommend taking out an accident insurance for your child/ren. In the case that a child is injured or hurt while in our care the child’s health insurance goes into effect.
Wunderhaus and its’ staff are not liable for any damages or loss of items before, during or after the childcare session. Liability remains intact without restriction for damages arising from injury to life, limb or health, in all cases of malicious intent and gross negligence.
If any term of this Agreement, the Wunderhaus General Terms and Conditions or contracts with Wunderhaus is to any extent invalid, illegal, or incapable of being enforced, such term shall be excluded to the extent of such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability; all other terms hereof shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid, illegal or unenforceable term or parts thereof shall be replaced as such to ensure the intent and economic success of both parties; the same holds true in case of a gap. Should current laws require the adjustment or change of any terms of this contract, both parties agree to replace the old term with the new law until a new term has been agreed upon.
